Following the presentation of the Golf Prizes, Mr. Robert Jacobs, son of the late Lou Jacobs, presented? President Jim Reiter and Ex-Dir. Jim Angus with the CA Diploma of his late father.? Pres. Reiter thanked Mr. Jacobs and noted that it would be kept with the archives of the Association and displayed at historical anniversaries, etc.

MOTION: Shaw (RM 168)/Hicks (RM 190): That Ken Engel be appointed as returning officer for the 2001 Annual Association Elections, and, That Audrey Trombley, Sinclair Harrison and Jim Angus be appointed as Deputy Returning Officers. CARRIED.

Returning Officer Ken Engel now opened a 5 minute nomination period for the position of Vice President of the Association and noted that the business of the convention could continue during the nomination period.?At 9:15 Mr. Engel made a final call for nominations.?He noted that only one nomination had been received and declared Mr. Kevin Ritchie elected as Vice President of the Association for the year 2001-2002.?Mr. Ritchie thanked the delegates for their support.
