Appointment of Returning Officer & outline of election procedures
MOTION: Giles (RM 290)/Hubbard (RM284): That Ken Engel be appointed as returning Officer for the 2004 R.M.A.A. Annual Elections, and, that Jim Reiter, Neal Hardy and Jim Angus be appointed as Deputy Returning Officers. CARRIED .

He noted that only one nomination had been received and declared Mr. Kevin Ritchie of Wilcox elected as President of the RMAA for the year 2004-2005. Mr. Ritchie thanked the delegates for their support.

9:00 Session called to order
9:10 Returning Officer Ken Engel opened a 5 minute nomination period for the position of Vice President of the Association and noted that the business of the convention could continue during the nomination period. At 9:15 Mr. Engel made a final call for nominations. He noted that only one nomination had been received and declared Mr. Don McCallum elected as Vice President of the Association for the year 2004-2005.
